GenerLink ^TM, a product offered by South Central Power, allows consumers to easily and safely connect a portable generator to their home without rewiring. It's designed and rated to connect directly to a standard household electric service of 200 amps or less, and generator must be 7200 watts or less.

Simple and Safe

GenerLink^TM is a five-inch device that South Central Power installs behind your electric meter. When you connect and start a portable generator, GenerLink^TM automatically disconnects your house from the electric utility grid. That prevents the possibility of power back feeds which can potentially damage equipment and harm utility personnel.

Cost & Installation

South Central Power sells GenerLink^TM for $615 plus tax. We send you an invoice after installation and payment is due in full. GenerLink^TM comes with a standard 20-foot power cord, but longer cords up to 100 feet are available at an additional cost. Please allow a few weeks for delivery and installation from the date of ordering. Non-standard equipment, such as longer cords, may take 4-6 weeks from the date of ordering. South Central Power will install the GenerLink^TM unit only for its electric customers.
